The Olivine application provides a platform for participating in the ClimateResponse® Virtual Power Plant (VPP), an innovative approach aimed at reducing energy consumption and earning incentives while contributing to climate change mitigation and grid stability.

Users receive notifications when ClimateResponse® Events are initiated, enabling effective monitoring of energy consumption and tracking of earned rewards. After installing the application, completing the onboarding process allows participants to start accruing incentives for curbing their energy use. This serves as a measure to conserve energy, reduce expenses, and support environmental sustainability.

Key features include:

<li>VPP offers: Opportunities to earn financial incentives by decreasing energy usage during ClimateResponse® Events.</li>
<li>Energy tracking: Tools for observing real-time energy consumption alongside hourly, daily, and monthly usage patterns.</li>
<li>Impact reporting: Insights into the reduction of individual carbon emissions resulting from participation.</li>
<li>GHG emissions tracking: Current data on greenhouse gas emissions within the service region.</li>
</ul>

Operational overview:

By linking the app to your utility provider account, energy data is retrieved and displayed within the platform. Users can analyze historical usage, identify deviations from typical patterns, and understand their consumption behavior using actual data. This information facilitates quantification of environmental benefits and supports participation in ClimateResponse® Events, ultimately fostering environmental stewardship.
